Mount Everest College held its Annual Cultural Meet-cum-Inter-Departmental Day on April 16, 2025, at the college auditorium under the theme “Roots of Tradition, Wings of Innovation.” The event aimed to preserve, practice, and promote cultural heritage. Vice Principal Mr. Meithuanlungpou Gonmei delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of celebrating culture through the 3Ps – Preserve, Practice and Promote.
Events included Traditional Fire Making, Choral Singing, and Departmental Activity competitions. Winners included Political Science and Zoology (Fire Making), Botany, English and Sociology (Choral Singing), and Zoology, Sociology, Physics, and English (Departmental Activity), receiving awards for creativity, realism, inspiration, and presentation respectively.
The event celebrated innovation, tradition, and academic integration through vibrant performances.
