The Department of Botany, Eco Club, and NSS Unit of Mount Everest College, in collaboration with IQAC, observed the International Day of Forests on March 21, 2025, under the theme “Forest and Food.” As part of the observance, members actively engaged in weeding the areas around previously planted tree saplings, reinforcing their commitment to forest care and maintenance. The activity aimed to nurture the young plants and highlight the importance of forest preservation in ensuring food security. The event served as a reminder of the ongoing responsibility to protect and sustain forest ecosystems for the benefit of all life.
