The Interdepartmental Debate on Gender Roles organised by GEC 3rd Semester, Sociology in collaboration with Debate Club, MEC on August 12, 2023 at the college auditorium was a success.
The debate on gender roles explored the topic “Is it fair to expect women to bear the primary responsibility for household chores and caregiving?” The participants presented arguments on traditional gender expectations, societal norms, and the need for equal division of responsibilities in modern households.
